Our Savvy Trainers will be fully immersed your dog, 7 days a week.

These are intensive lifestyle programs are designed to be highly effective by immersing your dog 24/7 in a training routine which includes daily structure, rules, socialization, and appropriate supervised exercise/play. By having your dog live with us in our home, for at least 3 weeks (It’ll be worth it, we promise!), your dog will develop a new foundation and state-of-mind. Besides our puppy program, all other B&Ts are a remote collar program.

We utilize the E Collar because it provides the clearest line of communication and leaves very little room for confusion or error. We properly condition the dog to the E Collar and utilize low levels to layer it over known commands. This way the dog understands that when they feel the E Collar, it’s us (the handler) talking to them. The E Collar also allows for properly timed, fair, clear corrections. All of our programs come with owner education and lessons. We want you and your dog to succeed, so we offer lifetime support and lessons for all our Board & Train Clients. Your dog will have new skills and capabilities after this training- as the owner, you will need to be willing to put in extra time and effort to ensure these skills continue to grow!

Board & Train Programs

We offer 3 different Board & Train Programs:

  • Puppy (4-6 Months)

  • Basic E Collar

  • Behavior Modification & Rehabilitation

Puppy

  • Our puppy program will lay the foundation of basic obedience training. Your puppy will learn the basic commands of heel, sit, down, place, and intro to recall. We focus on training the puppy in a public setting, as much as possible, so we can properly expose and socialize your puppy to all types of environments.

Basic E Collar

  • Our basic program is the place to start for any dog in need of training. Your dog will learn functional commands and how to walk politely on leash. We focus on impulse control and minor behavior modification, like pulling on leash. Your dog will also practice recall (coming when called) on a long-line.

Behavior Mod & Rehab

  • The advanced program is our highest level of training. This program is designed for owners seeking a clear communication system on + off leash. Your dog will learn reliable commands in + out of the home, receive a manners overhaul, and be introduced to an off-leash lifestyle!

    This program uses an Ecollar technologies system for the best results. We will teach you + your dog the language of the ecollar, and build a reliable training foundation with it. This level of training will only work if you're consistent and active with your dogs training. The ecollar can provide reliable off-leash recall, which means no more yelling at your dog for not coming!

    Our advanced training is highly recommended for dogs with any severe behaviors, like intense leash reactivity, dog aggression, separation anxiety, etc.

What Our Programs Provide

  • The Walk

    We help make walks enjoyable again! One of the first things we tackle with any dog is leash manners. All dogs are taught a proper heel and held accountable for any unfavorable behaviors.

  • Polite at Thresholds

    We instill pausing at thresholds and waiting for permission before entering/exiting. This is helps with excitability, bolting, reactivity, and so much more!

    (Thresholds = Going in/out doors, kennels, cars)

  • Outings

    We love taking dogs on field trips! Outings are a great way to put a dog’s skills to the test in social settings. Public access training is one of our specialties.

  • Place Command

    The place command is one of the most life-changing hacks for dog owners. Utilizing place for dogs instills discipline, self-restraint, and confidence. Not only is it a convenient training tool, but it also helps with behavioral issues.

  • Socialization

    We offer pack walking 5x a week. Moving as a pack brings out instinctual canine behavior, so we use this opportunity to lead and train them. Structured socialization is one the best ways for dogs to interact.

  • Reliable Recall

    Our expert program teaches the language of the E Collar, which helps us instill a non-negotiable recall. This means no more yelling at your dog when they aren’t listening! The E Collar opens up your dogs world to off leash freedoms.
